Did You Know?
Little Rock Central High School was originally Peabody
High School. In 1927 with the opening of a new $1.5 million building,
our school was renamed Little Rock Senior High School. At that time it
was the most expensive school ever constructed in the USA and was pronounced
"the most beautiful high school in America." Due to the construction
of Hall High School in 1953, the name was changed to Little Rock Central
High School. Over 600 students graduated in the 1967 class.
Contact Jerry Rogers if you
